Bollywood latest heartthrob all the way from Pakistan, Fawad Khan seems to be on the wish list of many directors and the latest buzz has it that he will be seen romancing none other than Aishawarya Rai Bachchan in Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil,
Rumours are rife that Khoobsurat actor has been approached for the film, which also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma.
Fawad, who is a very popular Pakistani actor, made his Bollywood debut opposite Sonam Kapoor in Khoobsurat and also bagged a Film Fare award for the Best Debut last weekend.
Now it seems his work has impressed Karan too and the actor has been approached for the film.
Known for his frothy romances, the filmmaker plans to tread a different path with Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, which is apparently an unconventional love story.
Karan Johar said, “It’s a film that dwells deeply on relationships, heartbreaks and how love completes you, defines you and yet leaves you wanting for more. I have never had, in my entire career, a film that has come to me so fast, so organically and so from within.”
The film will be shot across New York, Paris and New Delhi and will tentatively hit the screens in June, 2016.
Fawad was earlier rumoured to have been approached to play opposite Kareen Kapoor in Abhishek Chaubey’s latest film, ’Udta Punjab’ but later Diljit Dosanjh was finalised for the role
